Today may not feel like a Wednesday. It may feel more like a Monday thanks to the holiday yesterday. But trust me, you're at the precipice of hump day, and that means the week is halfway over, and you have all kinds of great stuff to read, thanks to me, your curator of wrestling content. Check. It. Out.

From Monday, I watched and reviewed the first G1 USA special from New Japan Pro Wrestling. Spoiler alert, I thought it was rad. [The Wrestling Blog]

Speaking of women's wrestling, Andrew Swift moves into the current day and the real thing, as he examines the least defined but perhaps most talented Horsewoman, Becky Lynch. [Cageside Seats]

The Punjabi Prison match is back. Dan Scotti has ten other matches he'd like to see make a return as well. [Wrestling With Words]

NON-WRESTLING #1: Ten years ago, Food Network received a bonkers pilot for a cooking show that'd become Chopped. Teresa Finney has a retrospective on the entire series, with input from yours truly, among others. [Vice]

NON-WRESTLING #2: Too many college football teams have the same nicknames, so Action Cookbook has free ideas for some to fit into a newer, more exclusive identity. Preview, you're going to love Mississippi State's new nickname. [Every Day Should Be Saturday]

Also, if you're considering giving money to The Wrestling Blog, I advise otherwise as I do this out of love/as a hobby/not for my primary source of income. However, I will ask that you support some other great people who DO write/produce content to get by. This week's honor roll:

Trevor Strunk (No Cartridge/Video Drone)
Jetta Rae (Fry Havoc)
Elle Collins (SyFy Wire)
